The Brazilian market profile will be unveiled very soon!
The success of the Brazilian Games Industry Report, produced in 2022 by Abragames in partnership with ApexBrasil, encouraged both institutions to continue investing in data collection and updating figures for the sector, one of the fastest growing in the country.
Developers and Studios from all over the country are invited to participate in the 2nd National Survey of the Games Industry, which was launched on April 11, 2023. In addition to helping to scale the size of the Brazilian electronic games industry and being included in the largest Brazilian survey of the sector in Brazil, studios and professionals will be able to participate in a promotional campaign that will offer four VIP tickets to the BIG Festival 2023 – the biggest festival of games, creation, networking and business in Latin America.
The names of the awarded recipients will be revealed on May 2nd and participating studios and/or professionals do not need to be Abragames' members to apply. The idea is to measure the size and potential of the Brazilian industry year by year and help the investors and the professionals to better understand the market.

Gdc
Brazilian delegation stood out among the participants
Brazil was on the agenda of one of the lectures at the event.
Brazil has been gaining more and more space and prominence in the international games market. And proof of that was the country's success at this year's GDC (Game Developers Conference), which took place in San Francisco, USA, in March.
On the first day of the GDC, which took place from the 22nd to the 24th of March, and the lectures had already been taking place since the 20th of March, Brazil was on the agenda for one of the presentations. Rodrigo Terra, President of Abragames, spoke about business opportunities in Brazil, and Gustavo Steinberg, CEO of BIG Festival, presented BIG Festival. The audience was high, with questions that showed curiosity about Brazil and the local games industry

Brazil was received with lots of expectations by the public
The Brazil Games stand was one of the most visited at the fair.
The Brazil stand was also the stage for two networking events: the São Paulo Day, a cocktail offered by CreativeSP that attracted many visitors - among journalists, exhibitors, investors and buyers, and the Breakfast, offered by Brazil Games. Both events were great for the guests to set up meetings, exchange ideas with Brazilians and make contacts.
At the Brazil Games stand, which received around four thousand visitors over the three days of the event, companies organized their business meetings and showcased their games. Four mini booths were available for some studios, who had booked spaces in advance to receive visitors and present their games.
The general numbers of the event were:
Brazil Games
Total companies supported by the Brazil Games Project: 43 (about 10 were supported by CreativeSP)
Participating entrepreneurs: 103
Interviews at the booth: more than 50
Number of visitors to the stand: more than four thousand
Fair's data (forecasts released before the event; final numbers are yet to be released)
Participants: 24,000 professionals
Exhibitors: 330
Lectures and content sessions: 730
