SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL (October 26, 2020) — Today, Brazil Games is proud to announce that nine Brazilian External Development companies, including Garage 227, PUGA Studios, and Manifesto Games, will be attending External Development Summit 2020 (XDS20 Adapt). In addition, eleven talented Brazilian game studios will attend this year’s White Nights Fall Online Event.
In partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), the group is led by Brazil Games (the Brazilian Games Export Program) — carried out by the Brazilian Games Companies Association and Abragames.
Taking place from Tuesday, October 27, to Friday, October 30, 2020, XDS20 Adapt is a one-of-a-kind industry event that draws hundreds of attendees from more than 45 countries that shines a light on studios that specialize in the external development of art, animation, audio, software engineering, QA, and localization.
“We’re very proud of the work done by all of our independent game studios, whether that’s developing their own titles in the house or assisting with independent and AAA studios internationally,” said Eliana Russi, Manager of Brazil Games. “Brazil is becoming a very important player in the scene and is growing an international reputation for top of the line quality work.”
Nine studios will be present at XDS20 Adapt, including the recently expanded Garage 227 Studios, 2D and 3D art specialists PUGA Studios, and the veteran studio Manifesto Games — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Other Brazil Games’ member studios attending XDS20 Adapt include BitCake, Cavylabs, Diorama Digital, Dogs Underground, GamePlan Consultants, and Kokku. Daniel Monastero, CEO of Garage 227 Studios, will be presenting at the event in his talk, “From 911 to Speed Dial: A Case Study in Partnership Evolution” on October 27, 3:30 PM BRT.
