Welcome to the Brazil Games Newsletter!
This month we will talk about the exciting events in the Brazil Games Export Program's schedule for the second half of the year! We will attend Gamescom, in Cologne (Germany), from August 20-22; External Development Summit - XDS, in Vancouver (Canada), from September 4-6; it will also be our first time at Tokyo Game Show, in Chiba (Japan), from September 12-15; last but not least, we’ll be at Game Connection Europe, in Paris (France), from October 29-31.
We are also celebrating the enormous success of BIG Festival, which is the leading business hub for games in Latin America and the gateway to local companies willing to internationalize their businesses. Seven years ago, BIG Festival ran with 4,000 visitors and 20 participating companies. This year's edition attracted 36,300 visitors and 428 companies. Brazil Games is one of the partners of BIG Festival, bringing many companies interested in doing business with Brazilian game studios.
The Brazil Games Export Program promotes the Brazilian games industry globally, developing new business leads and branding Brazil as the go-to place for business. It was created in 2013, by the Brazilian Game Companies Association, Abragames, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency.
We hope you enjoy the reading, so please do let us know your opinion!
If you are visiting Gamescom come and say 'hi' at our booth.
You can also follow our updates on social media, so you won’t miss a thing.
See you around!
